Tai Chi & Qigong Books

Dr Jesse Tsao’s passion and dedication combined with his 50+ years of experience has been imparted and distilled onto the page with amazing skill and a profound depth of information.  It is rare to read descriptions that convey how to improve physical actions, however 108 Answers to Tai Chi Practice does this exceptionally well. He provides practical advice that immediately shifted my understanding and enhanced my Tai Chi.  The simple layout allowed me to read small sections and develop my practice in an accessible way.  The book breaks down the questions and answers into 4 major sections which really pinpointed the issues and challenges I’ve experienced, as well as allowed for me to refine my practice and philosophical understanding behind movements and the various Tai Chi forms. These sections are: 1. Posture and Form, 2. Self Healing and Internal Training, 3. Push Hands, 4. Tai Chi application in Self Defense.   This book would be terrific for motivated beginners through to experienced practitioners.  As a teacher of Tai Chi and a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, this book is a wonderful read and an exceptional resource that I know I will refer to again and again.
